- Rates are in U.S. dollars (USD). Payments are to be made in U.S. dollars.
- VAN RENTER REQUIREMENTS Back to top
- Renter must be at least 25 years of age with a valid driver license issued in the United States. No international driver licenses are accepted without the approval of Capps Management. Renter must have and present at time of rental a major credit/debit card in their name. The debit/credit card will be charged for the entire amount of rental at time of vehicle pickup. PREPAID DEBIT/CREDIT CARDS ARE NOT ACCEPTED.
- PICKUPS AND FLAT BED RENTER REQUIREMENTS Back to top
- Renter must be at least 25 years of age with a valid driver license issued in the United States. No international driver licenses are accepted without the approval of Capps Management. Renter must have and present at time of rental a major credit/debit card in their name. The debit/credit card will be charged for a minimum of $750.00 or the amount of the full rental, whichever is greater at time of vehicle pickup. Renter using for personal use must show proof of personal automobile insurance in their name with at least $45,000.00 in Liability (Texas and Arizona rentals. Renter using for personal use must show proof of personal automobile insurance in their name with $45,000.00 in Comprehensive Coverage and $45,000.00 in Collision Coverage (Oklahoma Rentals). Corporate Rentals (Texas, Arizona and Oklahoma) using corporate insurance must have General Liability of $1,000,000.00, Liability for All Hired Autos of $500,000.00 and must have Physical Damage Coverage of at least $45,000.00 Capps must be listed on the Insurance as the Certificate Holder or Additional Insured. Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) is not available on pickup and flatbed rentals. PREPAID CREDIT CARDS ARE NOT ACCEPTED.
- INSURANCE Back to top
- Proof of insurance is required on all rentals of pickups and flatbeds. Insurance must be verified at the Capps location before picking up rental.
- ADDITIONAL DRIVERS Back to top
- Up to 2 additional drivers are allowed per rental contract. To be listed as an additional driver, individual must be present at time of vehicle rental and show proof of valid United States driver license. Additional drivers must be at least 25 years of age.
- LOSS DAMAGE WAIVER Back to top
- Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) - covers all physical damage to Capps vehicle only. LDW will cover renter plus 2 additional authorized drivers. Please contact a Capps Representative for full details. LDW is not available on rentals of pickups, flatbed. LDW is not available on cash rentals. Please see additional driver qualifications on this page.
- SUPPLEMENTAL LIABILITY INSURANCE Back to top
- Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) - Covers 3rd Party damage caused by renter and authorized additional drivers. Please call Capps Representative for full details. SLI is available on all vehicle classes.
- TAXES Back to top
- Taxes are not included in rental rates and will vary from state to state.
- PROPERTY TAX SURCHARGE Back to top
- Your rental may be subject to an additional charge of $3.00 per day for Property Tax Surcharge.
- STADIUM/ARENA TAX Back to top
- Your rental may be subject to a 5% Stadium/Arena tax at certain locations.
- AIRPORT FEE Back to top
- Some locations are required by law to charge a mandatory Airport Fee. Please call your rental location for full details.
- TRAILER TOWING Back to top
- Trailer towing is available on 12 Pass Vans, 15 Pass Vans and select pickups and flatbeds. An additional trailer towing fee may apply. Please call Capps Representative for full details.
- CASH RENTALS Back to top

Cash Rentals are allowed on 12 and 15 Passenger Vans only. The rental must
meet the following guidelines:
- Rental must be 3 days or longer.
- Renter and Additional Driver must meet the Capps Drivers License and Age Requirements. (See Details on this page) provide proof of automobile insurance in their name. Insurance must be verified by a Capps Representative at or before time of vehicle pickup. Loss Damage Waiver is not available.
- At time of vehicle pickup, rental must be prepaid in full with cash plus and an additional $250.00 cash security deposit.
- AFTER HOURS DROP Back to top
- After hours drop off is available at most Capps locations. Renter's responsibility for rental vehicle and rental charges will not end until vehicles is checked in the next morning by a Capps Representative. Most Capps locations provide a key drop box, please contact your local Capps location for details.
- FUEL Back to top
- Renter must return vehicle with the same amount of fuel as vehicle had at time of original rental pickup. If renter does not bring vehicles back with the same fuel level, a refueling charge of $5.00 per gallon will be assessed. No refunds will be given for excess fuel left in vehicle at time of return.
- AIRPORT SHUTTLE Back to top
- Please call your local Capps office to determine if airport shuttle is available in your area.
- ONE WAY RENTALS Back to top
- One way rentals are only allowed between locations in the same metro area. Please contact your local Capps location for details.
- TRAVELING INTO MEXICO Back to top
- Rentals into Mexico are allowed with Capps management approval. Proof of Mexico Insurance must be presented at time of picking up vehicle from Capps. Please contact your local Capps representative for fees and requirements associated with Mexico Insurance.
